COVER LETTER:


    This is a Spectral Line experiment at redshifted OH (18cm)

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE PHASE-CAL IS TURNED OFF
 (note that the BBC frequencies are tuned at *.99 so that you can
  check the state of the Phase-Cal in the oscilloscope)

The setup uses 4 BBCs, 8MHz each, 2 per polarization. The spectra lines
are in BBCs 1 and 2 (LCP and RCP) while BBCs 3 and 4 are used for the
continuum.


The centre frequency (redshifted 1666.4, chosen between the 1667 and
1665 OH lines) is at 1645.054 MHz, so the first BBC starts at
1640.99MHz

The target source sets early in Shanghai (UT 0300) and Urumqi (UT
0500).  One of the fringe finders, 3C345 is scheduled at the start
(not up for WSRT and Ro) and at the end of the tape (not up for Sh,
Ur).
