COVER LETTER:

This is the schedule for the 6cm NME and ftp fringe test on 23 February 2023
involving 12 EVN antennas + eMERLIN out-stations:
Jb1, Wb, Ef, Mc, Nt, O8, T6, Ur, Tr, Ys, Hh, Ib, Cm, Da, Kn, Pi, De.
(plus Od and Yd for DBBC3 testing)

The NME uses a standard setup of 4 Gbps, with eMERLIN (0.5 Gbps), Ur (2 Gbps), Wb (1 Gbps).

The NME lasts for 3 hours and consists of long scans on calibrators J0237+2848, J0319+4130, and J0530+1331.

The following ftp-fringe tests are scheduled throughout the experiment (UTC times):

EFFECT OF SOLAR CORONA

  The solar corona can cause unstable phases for sources too close to the Sun.
  SCHED provides warnings at individual scans for distances less than 10 degrees.
  The distance from the Sun to each source in this schedule is:

  Barry Clark estimates from predictions by Ketan Desai of IPM scattering sizes
