COVER INFORMATION Station: ARECIBO (Code Ar ) Experiment: 5GHz obs of SN/SNR in ARP 220 Exp. US 1930 - 0430 5GHz global network standard 512Mbit/s obs of Arp220. The correlation position is midway between the two nuclei. The beam of WSRT is FWHM 3 arc sec or HWHM 1.5 arcsec and sources 0.4arsec from pointing centre, should be OK. One correlation pass is sufficient. A dual polarisation mode is used. The source J1516+1932 (0.4Jy) is used for phasing up WSRT. The fringe finder is J1613+3412, schedule contains one 5min scan and one 10 min scan. Schedule starts in Europe at 14:50 UT. Use time before start in allocation (14:30 -14:50) for Bonn pointing etc. Other periods for Bonn pointing are 19:20 - 19:29 UT and 23:06 to 13:16 UT. VLBA schedule starts at 20:30 UT (one hour after allocation starts, sources are not visible before then), no VLBA_MK is included. Onsala taken out of schedule for a period toward end so there is always 16 or fewer antennas.
