The NME uses a setup similar to the one of the 1024Mbps user experiments and consists of long integrations strong sources - the fringe finders 4C39.25, 3C84 and 3C345 and the calibrators 3C273B, 3C286 and OQ208 - and a phase-referencing part. Four ftp tests are scheduled: ~13:03 UT (scan 4, 4 sec, 4C39.25) ~14:25 UT (scan 24, 8 sec, 4C39.25) ~15:46 UT (scan 31, 4 sec, 3C273B) ~17:19 UT (scan 39, 8 sec, 3C345, no Wb) Please make sure that the autoftp is set up correctly. The distance from the Sun to each source in this schedule is: Source Sun distance (deg) 3C84 25.9 J0916+3854 60.0 4C39.25 61.9 3C273B 113.7 3C286 110.1 OQ208 117.0 3C345 118.0 Barry Clark estimates from predictions by Ketan Desai of IPM scattering sizes that the Sun will cause amplitude reductions on the longest VLBA baselines at a solar distance of 60deg F^(-0.6) where F is in GHz.
