The NME uses a setup typical for methanol spectral line experiments, but with 16 channels, i.e. using both sidebands of all BBCs, and 8 MHz filters. The schedule consists of long integrations on strong calibrators like 3C84 and DA193 as well as a phase-referencing part. Four ftp-fringe tests are scheduled throughout the experiment. Note that the transfer times of Sh (estimates given below) govern the schedule of the tests.
