SUMMARY FILE FOR PROJECT: N11C1 COVER INFORMATION: Experiment: Network Monitoring Experiment Exp. Code: N11C1 Start Day 66 is Mon 7 Mar 2011 MJD 55627 Schedule Version: 3.00 Processed by SCHED version: 9.30 Release near March 23, 2010 PI: Yurii Pidopryhora Address: JIVE Postbus 2 7990 AA Dwingeloo The Netherlands Phone: +31-521-596548 EMAIL: pidopryhora@jive.nl Fax: Phone during observation: +31-521-596548 Observing mode: Notes: Cheers Please send the disk pack by express to JIVE COVER LETTER: This is the schedule for the 6cm NME on 07 March 2011 involving 14 antennas: Cm Eb Wb Jb1 On Mc Tr Ys Sv Zc Bd Ur Sh Hh The NME uses a standard setup and consists mostly of the long integrations on fairly strong (few hundred mJy/beam) sources J0409+1217, J0401+2110 and J0428+1732. It has no phase-referencing part. The sources are not the usual standard fringe finders and were chosen to be both bright and as compact as possible. Since they might not work so well for the ftp tests, two standard fringe-finders, 0234+285 and 0528+134 are observed in the ftp'd scans. Also, a WSRT primary calibrator 3C48 is observed to allow the processing of the Wb data in the interferometric mode. Three ftp tests are scheduled: ~12:14:20 UT (scan#2, 4 sec, 0234+285) ~13:13:40 UT (scan#6, 4 sec, 0234+285) ~14:09:40 UT (scan#10, 4 sec, 0528+134) Please make sure that the autoftp is set up correctly. Good luck with the session! Yurii CORRELATION REQUESTS (Defaults in parentheses): Correlator (Required if recording): JIVE Correlator average time (2 sec): 2.000 sec. The Mark5A disk systems have a limit of 1024 such scans. There are often multiple projects on a disk pack. Try to keep above about 6 GB per record scan by using MINPAUSE and PRESTART to prevent short gaps. However, also try to prevent record scans of more than an hour to minimize risk to data from playback problems. "Sync Hours" is on-source, in-scan time lost during correlation to resyncing recordings. Resyncs follow tape stoppages and formatter reconfigures. For VLBA DAR stations, total reconfigures and reconfigures during recording are shown. Reconfigures during recording can cause slow correlator sync. Any reconfigure can slow sync at JIVE.
