The NME uses a standard 512 Mbps setup. The schedule consists of long integrations on strong calibrators (J1642+3948 aka. 3C345 and J1751+0939) for ftp-fringe tests. At 18cm, 3C345 (J1642+3948) is ~3.5 Jy/beam and J1751+0939 is ~2.9Jy/beam) Four ftp-fringe tests are scheduled throughout the experiment: 11:39:00 (scan 2, 2 sec, J1642+3948) 12:39:00 (scan 8, 2 sec, J1642+3948) 13:04:00 (scan 11, 2 sec, J1751+0939) 14:09:00 (scan 17, 2 sec, J1751+0939) All antennas will participate in at least two FTP fringe tests. Please make sure that the autoftp is set up correctly. Thanks! Good luck with the session and see you on Skype! SCHED provides warnings at individual scans for distances less than 10 degrees. The distance from the Sun to each source in this schedule is: Source Sun distance (deg) J1642+3948 67.2 J1751+0939 70.0 Barry Clark estimates from predictions by Ketan Desai of IPM scattering sizes that the Sun will cause amplitude reductions on the longest VLBA baselines at a solar distance of 60deg F^(-0.6) where F is in GHz.
