The NME uses a standard setup with 128 Mbps. The schedule consists of: - long integrations on strong calibrators like DA193, J0927+3902, and 3C345 for ftp-fringe tests; - linear polarization check using the polarized calibrators J0927+3902 and 3C286; - D-terms check using the calibrators DA193 and 3C345; - and phase-referencing parts with a continuum source (0548+378 and J1640+3946) as target. Three ftp-fringe tests are scheduled throughout the experiment: 09:09:58 (scan 2, 2 sec, DA193) 10:11:58 (scan 35, 2 sec, J0927+3902) 11:53:13 (scan 72, 2 sec, 3C345) Please make sure that the autoftp is set up correctly. Thanks! Good luck with the session! SCHED provides warnings at individual scans for distances less than 10 degrees. The distance from the Sun to each source in this schedule is: Source Sun distance (deg) 0548+378 118.1 DA193 117.1 J0927+3902 77.2 3C286 41.2 J1640+3946 65.1 3C345 65.5 Barry Clark estimates from predictions by Ketan Desai of IPM scattering sizes that the Sun will cause amplitude reductions on the longest VLBA baselines at a solar distance of 60deg F^(-0.6) where F is in GHz.
