The ftp test uses a setup with 1 Gbps and consists of integrations on strong calibrators like 4C39.25 (~8.3 Jy at 15 GHz from MOJAVE) and J1310+3220 (~2.5 Jy at 22GHz from EVLA POLCAL Database). on a strong source 0234+285 - a standard fringe finder. There are three ftp fringe-test scans (1) 12:09:00 UT (scan 2, 2 sec, 4C39.25) (2) 12:55:00 UT (scan 25, 2 sec, 4C39.25) (3) 13:49:00 UT (scan 49, 2 sec, J0923+3849) See you on Skype group chat and Good luck with the session! SCHED provides warnings at individual scans for distances less than 10 degrees. The distance from the Sun to each source in this schedule is: Source Sun distance (deg) 3C84 138.9 4C39.25 73.2 Barry Clark estimates from predictions by Ketan Desai of IPM scattering sizes that the Sun will cause amplitude reductions on the longest VLBA baselines at a solar distance of 60deg F^(-0.6) where F is in GHz.
