COVER INFORMATION Station: ZELENCHK (Code Zc ) Experiment: Network Monitoring Experiment Exp. Code: F14X1 Schedule Version: 2.00 Processed by SCHED version: 11.00 Release of Feb. 15, 2013 PI: Gabriele Surcis Address: JIVE Postbus 2 7990 AA Dwingeloo The Netherlands Phone: +31-521-596508 EMAIL: surcis@jive.nl Fax: Phone during observation: +31-521-596508 Observing mode: Notes: Ftp fringe test for session 3/2014 512 Mbps, L+R, 2-bit sampling, 8 MHz filters Please send the disk pack by express to JIVE COVER LETTER: This is the schedule for the X-band ftp fringe-test F14X1 on 03 November 2014 involving 11 antennas: Eb Wb On20 Nt Sv Zc Bd Sh T6 Hh Ys. Two ftp-fringe tests are scheduled throughout the experiment: 08:44:00 UT (scan 3, 2 sec, 3C345) 09:29:00 UT (scan 8, 2 sec, 3C345) ** Note that 3C345 is the only strong calibrator that is up at the same time for all the stations. Because Hh is always below an elevetion of 20 degrees, we expect weak fringes (even though worse in the first ftp-fringe test). ** Please make sure that the autoftp is set up correctly. Thanks! Good luck with the session! SCHED provides warnings at individual scans for distances less than 10 degrees. The distance from the Sun to each source in this schedule is: Source Sun distance (deg) 3C345 62.6 Barry Clark estimates from predictions by Ketan Desai of IPM scattering sizes that the Sun will cause amplitude reductions on the longest VLBA baselines at a solar distance of 60deg F^(-0.6) where F is in GHz.
